KCUR is the local public radio station in Kansas City. They offer a wide variety of programming, including content they produce themselves, but in the ears of most Kansas City natives they are the local NPR station. Their brand was nonexistent. My team was tasked with constructing a new visual and verbal identity for KCUR to help drive donations. Another challenge was bringing all their local programming under their one parent brand. My work involved establishing visual identity guidelines, laying out the brand guidelines book, and structuring brand hierarchy.
